8TH ANNUAL PINK OUT! SF GOES OFF TUESDAY, MAY 8TH

 

Rosé Avengers & Producers and Chef Lam of Butterfly restaurant host the 8th Annual PINK OUT! SF on Tuesday, May 8th 2012. TasteLive -- the world’s premier online tasting community -- will host a live streaming broadcast from Butterfly with wine bloggers tasting remotely from around the U.S. The virtual tasting is sponsored by CellarPass and will feature a variety of rosés styles from sparkling to still to Port! Featured wines include Gloria Ferrer 2007 Brut Sparkling Rosé, Chateau D'Esclans 2011 Whispering Angel Rosé, Envolve 2011 Sonoma Mountain Rosé and Croft Pink Rosé Port. The trade and media portion of the event will take place from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. The consumer tasting happens from 6:30pm to 9:00pm with tickets on sale now.

Our charity partner for 2012 is Worth Our Weight, a non-profit organization that apprentices young people age 16 to 24 who have faced major challenges in their lives. We'll host a raffle to win a wine country getaway to the Flamingo Spa & Resort in Santa Rosa, California.

The Pink Out! SF celebration at Butterfly restaurant will feature an extensive walk-around tasting of 40-plus classic still and sparkling rosés from throughout the world, accompanied by delicious appetizers and chill DJ grooves by Durojaiye Versatile. Chef Lam will once again dished up rosé-inspired Pan-Pacific appetizers from sustainably and organically sourced ingredients. Guests are encouraged to sport their most fun and entertaining pink attire.
